Before using this guide, make sure you have already signed your Rithmic agreements. If you have not done so yet, please refer to your prop firm or broker's connection article first.

Why Use RTrader Pro with DeepChart?

RTrader Pro acts as a single stable connection point between Rithmic and DeepChart. By routing your data through RTrader Pro, you can run multiple trading platforms simultaneously on the same Rithmic account without any session conflicts.

• In the event of a network issue on your end that causes DeepChart to disconnect, RTrader Pro acts as a backup — allowing you to manage, modify or close your active trades directly inside RTrader Pro without any interruption

Note: RTrader Pro must remain open at all times while using DeepChart. Always connect RTrader Pro first before connecting DeepChart to avoid any connection errors.

Before You Begin

Make sure the following match across both platforms:

• Same credentials - use the same Rithmic username and password in both RTrader Pro and DeepChart
• Same System / Server - the System you select in RTrader Pro must match the Server you select in DeepChart
• Same Gateway - select the same gateway in both platforms

Which System / Server Should I Select?

Real Broker

Prop Firm - With Dedicated Server

If your prop firm has a dedicated server, select your prop firm's name as the System in RTrader Pro and the same prop firm name as the Server in DeepChart.

Rtrader Pro - 


DeepChart - 

Prop Firm - Without Dedicated Server

If your prop firm is not listed in RTrader Pro or DeepChart, select Rithmic Paper Trading as the System in RTrader Pro and Rithmic Paper Trading as the Server in DeepChart.

Step 1 - Setting Up RTrader Pro

1. Open RTrader Pro on your computer
2. On the login screen, enter your Rithmic credentials provided by your prop firm or broker
3. Select the correct System based on your account type as described above
4. Select your Gateway - choose the one nearest to your location

Based on your ping results:

• If your ping to EU is lower - select London Area or Frankfurt Area
• If your ping to US is lower - select Chicago Area or New York Area
• If you are not sure - select Chicago Area (Global Default - recommended for most users)

Tip: The lower your ping number, the closer and faster that server is to your location. Always choose the gateway with the lowest ping for the best connection.

5. Make sure Allow Plugins is turned ON before logging in
6. Click Login and keep RTrader Pro running in the background
   
   

Performance Settings

Once logged in, configure RTrader Pro for maximum performance to ensure DeepChart receives data at full speed.

7. Go to the top menu and click Preferences
8. Navigate to the Performance tab
9. Under Max Market Data Updates/Second, set both Quotes and Order Book sliders to No Max
10. Make sure Adjust to keep up with market data inflow is checked
11. Click OK
    
    

Ensure this is set to No Max at all times. If the limit is set too low, you may experience data delays during high volatility market conditions where data inflow is significantly higher than usual.

Step 2 - Setting Up DeepChart

1. Open DeepChart and go to the connection/datafeed settings
2. Click Add Connection
3. Under Feed Source, select Rithmic - RAPI
4. Enter your Rithmic credentials - the same username and password used in RTrader Pro
5. Select the same Server you selected as System in RTrader Pro based on your account type as described above
6. Select the same Gateway you used in RTrader Pro
7. Scroll down to Advanced and enable Use RTrader Pro Plugin
8. Click Save
   
   

Step 3 - Connecting Both Platforms

Always connect in this order to avoid errors:

1. First - make sure RTrader Pro is already logged in and running with Allow Plugins ON
2. Then - connect DeepChart to your Rithmic connection

If you connect DeepChart before RTrader Pro is running, or if Allow Plugins is not enabled, DeepChart will show a connection error. Always start RTrader Pro first.
