Imbalance Tracker
The Imbalance Tracker indicator is an advanced market analysis tool designed to identify and monitor imbalances (imbalances) between buy and sell orders. Primarily used in Order Flow-based trading environments, the indicator allows detection of areas where order flow is particularly imbalanced, providing valuable insights into price levels where buy or sell pressure dominates. This tool enables traders to better interpret supply and demand dynamics.
Settings
To apply the Imbalance Tracker indicator to the chart, click on the Indicators function, and select from the list Imbalance tracker.

Imbalance Settings
Clicking on the indicator's settings icon will open its configuration window, within which you will be able to make several choices regarding the functionality of the indicator itself.
- Minimum Imbalance %: Defines the minimum percentage of imbalance required between buy and sell orders to consider imbalance. A high value filters out only significant imbalances, while a lower value allows even small differences to be seen.
- Minimum Volume Diff: Sets the minimum volume difference between the buy and sell side to detect imbalance. This setting is useful for excluding very small volumes.
- Include zero on imbalance: If enabled, includes ticks with zero volumes in the imbalance calculation.
- Min. Num. Of Consecutive Imb: Specifies the minimum number of consecutive imbalances required to identify an area of interest. It is used to highlight areas where imbalance occurs continuously or with a specified strength.
Plot Setting

- Num. Extended Bars : Defines the number of bars over which to extend the detected imbalance display. This parameter allows you to customize the duration of the display of the imbalance area on the chart, making it visible for a number of successive bars
- Line Width: Adjusts the thickness of the line used to highlight imbalance areas. A higher value makes the line more visible, which is useful for easier graphical reading in contexts with multiple layers or in trading environments with high visual activity.
Fresh Zone: represents an area of imbalance in the market that has not yet been retraced, that is, a level to which price has not yet returned after an imbalance has occurred. These areas can indicate levels of interest for i for the market and consequently for the trader's operational analysis.
- Buy Color: Lets you choose the color to highlight virgin zones where there has been strong buying pressure
- Sell Color: Allows you to select the color for virgin zones where there is an imbalance generated by sales pressure
Triggered Zone:
- Enable Triggered Zone: Enables the display of imbalance zones that have been crossed by price. When enabled, the indicator highlights these areas as points of interest where the price has already tested and/or crossed an imbalance.
- Trigger Only Touch: When enabled, this setting allows the price to switch from Virgin Zone to Crossed with the touch of the zone. When disabled this process will only occur when the imbalance is broken.
- Buy Trig Color: Lets you select the color for the purchase crossed imbalance zones
- Sell Trig Color: Lets you select the color for the crossed sales imbalance zones
- Enable: This option enables or disables sound/Popup notification for the indicator. When enabled, an audible notification is issued whenever an event defined by the imbalance
- Alert-Name: This allows you to select the sound type or name of the audible alert associated with the notification.
- Popup-message: Lets you customize the text displayed in the popup.
