Rate of Change (ROC)

Rate of Change (ROC)

The ROC (Rate of Change) indicator is a technical analysis indicator that measures the percentage of change in the price of an asset over a given period of time.

It is used to determine the rate at which price is changing, thus providing indications of the strength or weakness of an ongoing trend. It is a momentum indicator that can signal possible price reversals, overbought or oversold conditions, and confirm the direction of a trend.
